{"id":385,"date":"2021-07-06T05:30:29","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T05:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ieee-cyber.org\/2021\/?page_id=385"},"modified":"2021-07-15T09:51:31","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T09:51:31","slug":"presentation-guideline-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ieee-cyber.org\/2021\/presentation-guideline-2\/","title":{"rendered":"PRESENTATION GUIDELINES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">For all presenters from Mainland China, you should attend the conference to present your paper ONSITE at Jiaxing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">For all presenters outside Mainland China, you should participate ONLINE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#54595d;font-size:24px\"><strong>Instructions for ORAL Presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Talk duration:&nbsp;<\/strong><ul><li>Plenary Lectures&nbsp;are scheduled for 60 minutes (including 5 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li><li>Keynote Lectures&nbsp;are scheduled for 40 minutes (including 5 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li><li>Regular Sessions&nbsp;are scheduled for 15 minutes (including 3 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All onsite speakers in oral sessions should bring your ppt and test it with the laptop provided in the session room at least 15min before the session starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All online speakers in oral sessions must send their <strong>pre-recorded videos<\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:t.sq.mgt@gmail.com\">t.sq.mgt@gmail.com<\/a> by <strong>July 20, 2021<\/strong>. Speakers are required to join the live Q&amp;A session via Tencent Conference. Following tips\/requirements for video recording:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Use <strong>\u201cWidescreen\u201d format<\/strong>, with the <strong>16:9 aspect ratio<\/strong>, to utilize the full screen (the standard 4:3 format will work but it will not fill the entire screen when in presentation mode)<\/li><li>Slides will need to have <strong>audio narration embedded<\/strong>. <em>NOTE<\/em>: Follow this step-by-step instruction on&nbsp;\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/record-a-slide-show-with-narration-and-slide-timings-0b9502c6-5f6c-40ae-b1e7-e47d8741161c?ui=en-us&amp;rs=en-us&amp;ad=us\">recording your audio in PowerPoint<\/a>\u201d<\/li><li>Conference will <strong>only accept the MPEG-4 (.mp4) format<\/strong> and export the presentation as an MPEG-4 (.mp4) file. <em>NOTE<\/em>: Follow this step-by-step instruction on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/turn-your-presentation-into-a-video-c140551f-cb37-4818-b5d4-3e30815c3e83\">exporting a PowerPoint file to .mp4<\/a>\u201d<\/li><li>The MPEG-4 file size must be <strong>less than 50&nbsp;Mb<\/strong><\/li><li>NOTE:&nbsp;If you\u2019re using a web-based presentation program, such as <em>Prezi, Slideshare, <\/em>or<em> Google Slides<\/em>, you will need to use&nbsp;\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/guides.library.illinois.edu\/c.php?g=347363&amp;p=2343177\">screen capture software<\/a>\u201d to record your screen and presentation narration. Also, you may use <em>Zoom<\/em> to prepare your video. Be sure to export your video, including all audio, as an <strong>.mp4 movie file<\/strong> format for submission.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:18px\">NOTE: <strong>For regular sessions<\/strong> (<em>i.e.<\/em>, ORAL presentations), <strong>pre-recorded videos should be less than 12 min<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#54595d;font-size:24px\"><strong>Instructions for POSTER Presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poster session represents an effective and valuable means for authors to present their research results. It offers an opportunity of meeting with interested attendees for in-depth scientific and technical discussions, and establishing new collaborations. Therefore, it is important that you display your results clearly to attract people who have an interest in your team\u2019s research work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your poster should cover the KEY POINTS of your paper, which include but not limited to background, methods, results and conclusion. Make your poster as self-explanatory as possible. This will save your time for discussions and questions with fellow researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Author should print and post up your poster on the poster panel at pre-function area at the assigned timeslot<\/strong>, and present at your poster session to the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For oversea&#8217;s poster presenters, please send us your poster pdf by\u00a0 July 20.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POSTER DIMENSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Your poster SHOULD have the following dimensions:<\/li><li><strong>Poster Size: 90 cm (wide) x 120 cm (high).<\/strong><\/li><li>Please note that printing out your submitted full paper in A4 size format is NOT acceptable as a poster.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POSTER CONTENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Title:<\/strong> The title of your poster should appear at the top with lettering of at least <strong>42 pt<\/strong> font size). Below the title, place the names of authors and their affiliations.<\/li><li><strong>Text: <\/strong>Text should be readable from five feet away. Use a minimum font size of <strong>17 pt<\/strong>. Keep the text brief. Try to use text to introduce the study, explain visuals and direct viewers\u2019 attention to significant data trends and relationships portrayed in the visuals, state and explain the interpretations that follow from the data. It is also a good idea to put future research plans or questions for discussion with viewers in your text.<\/li><li><strong>Figures: <\/strong>Each figure should have a brief title. Figures should be numbered consecutively according to the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Try to use color figures rather than only black and white text to make your poster attractive and highlight the important technical content of your paper.
